The green line shows the level required to be on target for 2010, and the dotted line shows casualties in 2005.
Provisional figures show that KSI casualties in 2006 were 112 - which is almost identical to the 2005 level, and above the target for the year.

Comparison with Southend-on-Sea and New Essex
Provisional figures show that Thurrock had a casualty rate per 100,000 population of 76.40. This compares to an average figure of 71.64 across New Essex, and 39.94 in Southend-on-Sea.
