Cruz Control Event

Southend Borough Council’s Road Safety Team was thrilled with the success of Cruz Control, a young driver educational day, on 14th September at the Cliffs Pavilion. Feedback has been excellent with plenty of constructive and complimentary comments including requests for next years date; therefore they have decided to make this an annual event.
 
In attendance were 6th form students and teachers from Southend schools and colleges plus Road Safety Officers from the eastern regions. Representatives from all the organisations involved enjoyed an informative day.
 
All 1400 students attending the day behaved impeccably and as a borough we should be proud of our 16 – 18 year old students.
 
Next year the show will be presented in two half day events, thus giving us the opportunity to open the day to all Southend Colleges.
