Freedom of Information (FOI)
As of 1st January 2005, the Freedom of Information Act requires all public bodies in the United Kingdom to provide a general right of access to the information they hold.
Safety Camera Partnerships are not public bodies but are constituted of public bodies and as such, whilst complying with the specific policies of individual parent organisations, recognise the need to embrace the legislation.
The Essex Safety Camera Working Group (SCWG) will continue to proactively publish information regarding its activities, in line with the National Safety Camera Partnerships' policy and publication scheme.
Under the Freedom of Information Act members of the public can request information held by the Essex Safety Camera Working Group. We have tried to make this website as useful as possible and include any information that the public may require.
