I gave my licence into my local police station and I have receieved a letter informing me that I have not surrendered it, why?
If the police station is not located in Essex this could be due to the delay in other police forces sending it through to Essex. If this is the case, please contact the police station concerned. If given into an Essex police station, it may have been mislaid within the internal mailing system. Please call the Essex Safer Roads Bureau on 01277 636610 and quote your ticket number.
Why has my fixed penalty payment been refunded?
This is normally due to the driving licence details not having been inputted into the Fixed Penalty System, please call the Essex Safer Roads Bureau on 01277 636610 and quote your ticket number.
I am unable to contact the Southend Magistrates Court payment office (fixed penalty) on the normal numbers (01702 283863 or 01702 283865)?
This is usually due to the high volume of calls, alternative numbers to try are 01702 283866 or 01702 283816.
Alternatively you can post payment to them at Fixed Penalty Clerk, Court House, 80, Victoria Avenue, Southed-on-Sea, Essex SS2 6EU
