Your Life in your Hands
This is the fourth pack in a series of packs produced by Essex County Council designed to help young people stay safe and is sent to schools free of charge for Year 9 students.
The pack contains a booklet for students and one for their parents.
The students’ booklet covers areas of Road Safety and Traffic Law but also looks at bullying, travel choices, dealing with problems and first aid. 
The parents guide offers advice on age milestones (what’s legal and when!), tips on how to get the road safety message over to their teenagers, personal safety, drugs and alcohol, going green and statistics about road casualties amongst teenagers.We encourage comments about the publication and offer a free prize draw with the return of the questionnaire.
