Level 3
This level is advanced training for pupils or adults who has either passed levels 1 and 2 or can achieve the outcomes of these two levels.
It is tailored to the trainees needs and introduces more advances strategies such as using major roundabouts, traffic lights, filtering, multi lanes and complex junctions. It also looks at journey planning, on and off road cycling facilities and hazard perception
It is delivered on a one to one basis although one instructor may take up to three trainees at a time.
This is not currently offered by Essex County Council but can be delivered by local training organisations.
