Essex Seminars

Essex County Council offer full day seminars to assist businesses in managing the risks to their employees.

Please find details below seminars aimed at two different target audiences.

HGV/PSV Operator Seminar
This full day seminar is aimed at those who run fleets of HGV and PSV vehicles. It will include topics such as; Corporate Manslaughter Act, Graduated Fixed Penalties & Immobilisation, Driver CPC Qualification and Eco-driving Solutions. Information will also be provided by Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) on relevant legislation and legal, financial, environmental and operational implications.

Business Road Risk Seminar
This full day seminar is aimed at those who have use company vehicles, such as vans, company cars and those who use personal vehicles for business use. Information will be provided on the legal requirements to comply with legislation such as Health and Safety at Work Act and the Corporate Manslaughter Act. The aim of these seminars is to enable those attending to effectively structure and write a road safety policy.

 All of the workshops and seminars are available FREE of charge and are supported by resources – however we do ask for a £25.00 deposit, refundable on attendance for the full day events.
