Health Week
The Road Safety team spent the day with the ‘Community Wheels’ Exhibition Unit in Brentwood High Street. It was a chance for the public to try out their driving skills on the ‘Driving Simulator’ using the drink drive programmed to show them just how difficult it is to drive when they have taken an alcoholic drink.
The team also gave out non alcoholic drinks to encourage people that they could enjoy a drink that did not contain any alcohol and this would also help them to stay healthy, as well as leaflets on the risks and penalties of drinking and driving.
Despite the weather, this event was well attended by the public and the different partner agencies.
