Young Driver/Rider Road Risk Workshop

11 young drivers/riders aged 17-25 years from local businesses participated in a Young Driver/Rider Road Risk Workshop on the 24th March 2010.

They fully participated in a full day workshop consisting of both theory and practical sessions. They actively participated in discussions around hazard perception, the effects of emotions, their own beliefs and attitutes and journey planning. The practical session gave the opportunity for learning about vehicle checks and having an assessed ride with a qualified instructor.
