New resource for learner drivers available
Essex County Council Libraries have added to the support resources that libraries have for people learning to drive (books, DVDs and CD-Roms) by giving library members access to the online service Theory Test Pro.
This service provides an online simulation of the driving theory test, with the official test question bank, hazard perception video clips and an online version of the Highway Code. The product and material is licensed by the DSA.
It will be available for use in any of the 73 libraries and also remotely via the Essex County Council website for anyone with a current library membership ticket. Access is free.

If you do not have a library membership do not worry, they are free and easy to obtain at any library in Essex.
We are seeing the potential customer groups who will use this as 1) those learning to drive or about to take the test, and 2) existing drivers who might be encouraged to re-check their knowledge.
